Amy sold him because in the book, Red and Storm would go to shows together, and in the book, Red was going to a show and Amy couldn’t take Storm, and storm was really upset. Amy wanted him to do what he enjoyed because she wanted him to be happy. Storm is a jumper, not a for fun horse. Hope that explained things. :)

That whole story with Storm’s stupid. Why would you have to sell a horse that you love just because you can’t go to any events with it? They’re not making a horse happy either.

“Storm” is actually my trainer’s horse. I’m not too surprised he’s been in a Heartland episode- he’s quite talented and very laid back. She makes riding him look pretty easy :)
maybe Amy just love Storm becuz his a better jumper and actally can jump high, very high, but she loves Spartan becuz he actallyhave a heart and he’s almost the only connection to her dead mother.. it just what i think
Storm is such a gorgeus horse!!!! I couldnt bring maself to sell him!!
i know amy ‘has’ to give up storm but if i was her….i could never do that. if she really doesnt compete then yeah sell him so he isnt wasted but if you could make a bit of time to keep him fit and do a little bit of jumping adn training for comps then go for it. showjumpers dont need to be jumped everyday. maybe 2/3 times a week adn then the comp but 4/5 ..you could destroy there legs. i only jump my mare 2/3 times at most and we event every weekend.
